Some geostationary satellites are visible in this period with a Canon EOS 450D (Rebel XSi) and a 300mm Tamron telephoto shows M42, the Great Nebula of Orion acquired. Each sub-frame is an exposure 30 seconds at ISO1600. The DSLR camera is connected via an EQ6 mount, to prevent movement of the stars sidereal. This is why we see this move satellites.
